OOPS!

I am so sorry that I haven't posted in forever. I was planning on doing it Friday night but I was so tired. and yesterday I worked two different shifts and wanted to spend some time with my man.
But I was reminded to post pictures of my house. so tonight I will tell you what I (by I , I mean Mitch) did to it.

There is my kitchen. I went shopping, as you can see.

It was sad I cleaned out my fridge and there was only cheese, pudding and water left. So I spent a majority of our money on food for the next month. Once I put away the food I made things. I will put the link to the recipes that I used but I made granola bars and oatmeal packs.

Oat Meal Packs: make your own oatmeal packs

And then I had to go to work. I got back pretty late so no more cleaning for me that day.
the next morning after I got done with work I came home to a clean house. Thanks to my amazing husband Mitch, the whole place was clean! Goodness I am LUCKY!!!

So this is my clean kitchen:

Now before I sign out I do have to leave something for all you that have a sweet tooth. I found a recipe that will blow your mind. Actually I am eating it right now. It is a no egg cookie dough recipe that is only for eating. NO BAKING. Just to eat! Here is the link!

I got a Feeling...

Not a very good one.

My plan for the day was to wake up and get the laundry finished, clean at least one room in my home, go to work, come home write my blog and then make dinner and go to work again.

This is how it really went:

I woke up in the worst pain. Stayed in bed until Mitch left for work. Watched the news and ate oatmeal. Watched my Hulu shows and went to work. An hour later I got home put in the second Harry Potter movie and wrote this. I will admit that I got the laundry washed and dried...Not put away yet but its all clean.

I am supposed to tell you about how I prepared dinner last night. I was going to take a picture but Mitch started eating. So this is how it happened:

  • season steak
  • cut carrots and celery and put on the bottom of the roasting pan
  • cover steak and veggies with beef broth and some A1 steak sauce
  • cook covered in the oven for 50 minutes
  • uncover and continue cooking for 10 more minutes.
It was quite good.
Tonight I am making BBQ Spaghetti. That one I will take a picture of and put up a recipe Tomorrow.

Also coming tomorrow (hopefully) will be pictures of my home. You will see how dirty it is and when I clean the different rooms I will tell you what I cleaned and tricks I use to clean different things.

One Last Start!

So this is actually the 3rd time I've tried to keep up a blog. I'm not sure why I can't keep it up. I think I just wasn't into it completely, but I think what will be different now is that I am home ALL the time. When I'm not home I am probably at work (only for a max of 2 hours).

Maybe I should rename my blog to "No Work and All Play" or "Training Days of a House Wife". I like the second one more. I feel like that's what I'm going through. I guess we should start with the basics:

  1. My name is Jennifer Foy. It was Jennifer Hargis up until March and then I married my wonderful husband Mitch.
  2.  I grew up in Arizona for the majority of my life even though I was born in California.
  3.  I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I haven't always been a member. I was baptized in January of 2011. My best friend introduced me to the church.

That's me in a nut shell.  I'm going to try to do a new post everyday. I'm not sure what it will be about. Maybe some day I will figure out my nitch. Some people have cleaning others have food, or fitness. I'm not sure what it will be.

Maybe I wasn't to far off when I said that my blog should be named "Training Days of a House Wife". That's what I am pretty much. A house wife in training. I think that is what my nitch will be. The lessons I learn daily of becoming a house wife. Yep, that's it! It will be a blog on all of it; how to stay a hot house wife with a clean home, great food, a balanced budget and all that jazz! It will be a blast.

So lets start it!

DAY 1:

Today I woke up and had to get some school stuff done in the morning. Its one of the most frustrating things I've ever had to deal with.

Once I got home I relaxed and watched some of my shows on Hulu. I don't have a really exciting life.
Now I am writing this lovely blog, WHILE at the same time doing laundry. Today was supposed to be a cleaning day but I got distracted. That happens far too often. I work tonight from 6-9pm so I will need to figure out what i am going to do for dinner. I pulled out a skirt steak to make. Not sure how it will be prepared.

I will post tomorrow how dinner was prepared. Though I do need to warn anyone who is reading this other than me that its been quite awhile since I went shopping for food so it won't be the most impressive thing ever seen.

Also tomorrow I will post what my cleaning chores for the day.

This is my thought; I will post what my plans are for the next day so I have it written down first instead of just saying it in my head!

So tomorrow I will:

  • Post about tonight's dinner
  • Post my cleaning schedule
  • Post a new lesson learned
 This should be fun!!!!
